At Willow Lake, Care Grows With Your Loved One's Needs

Selecting the right community can be a challenging and emotional process — and having to start over because a facility dismisses a resident after a change in needs makes it even harder. At Willow Lake, we're committed to serving our residents for as long as they need us.

While additional services may carry additional costs, and while working within state guidelines, residents are not dismissed simply because their needs change. At Willow Lake, care never stops when needs change.

The Moore Family

The mother and son team of Cheryl and Eric Moore have successfully owned and operated assisted living communities for over 20 years. Their commitment to delivering best-in-class care at affordable rates has earned the admiration of residents, families, and peers in the industry alike. Both Cheryl and Eric take great pride in the relationships they've built with partnering doctors, pharmacists, home health providers, and the families of those in their care. Those relationships are the foundation for the exceptional experiences Willow Lake residents enjoy every day.

Meet The Owners

Cheryl Moore

Cheryl Moore is a licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of experience in home health and healthcare facility settings. She holds a master's degree in healthcare administration and has founded and operated multiple assisted living communities over the past two decades, providing care for hundreds of seniors along the way.

Cheryl's journey into assisted living began personally — when she faced the challenge of finding the right placement for her own mother and couldn't find a community that truly met her needs, she decided to build one herself. That experience drives her commitment to ensuring every Willow Lake resident receives the individualized care and dignity they deserve.

Eric Moore

Eric Moore grew up immersed in senior living, learning firsthand about the needs of residents and the dedication it takes to serve them well. He holds a bachelor's degree in management from Clemson University and proudly served in the National Guard, where he commanded a Medical Company and was deployed overseas. He continues to serve as a Medical Operations Officer for the State of Florida.

Eric has worked alongside Cheryl in operating their previous community and successfully led another family facility through a major renovation — bringing the same hands-on leadership to every challenge. With more than 15 years of management experience in senior living, Eric brings both the operational expertise and the personal commitment that Willow Lake residents and their families deserve.

Family-Owned Community

Willow Lake is a family-owned and operated assisted living and memory care community. Having local owners means more than convenience — it means genuine dedication, personal accountability, and deep compassion for every resident, family member, and team member under our roof. The Moore family is fully committed to enriching the daily lives of those in their care, from personal care and nutrition to leisure, health, and overall well-being.

Unlike corporate-owned facilities, the Moore family is hands-on in every aspect of care delivery. They are personally accessible to residents and families 24/7 — available for any changes, concerns, or questions that arise. At Willow Lake, you're never navigating a phone tree to reach someone who cares.

Our Levels of Care

At Willow Lake, care never stops when needs change.  We treat every person in our care as a member of our own family. Our devoted, well-trained staff are committed to providing the highest level of care — adapting to each resident's evolving needs so they can continue living fully within our community, no matter how their care requirements change over time.

While many assisted living facilities limit the care they're willing to provide, that's not how we operate. At Willow Lake, we grow with our residents. A change in condition is never a reason to ask someone to leave — it's simply a reason to care more.
